In the spring of 2002, Swanson Realty & Construction, LLC. began building single family homes in Victory Pointe. (Section G) In the winter of 2002 Ole South Excavating completed the utility infrastructure for Victory Park East (Section B), a medical park conveniently located down the street from the new Middle Tennessee Medical Center site

Swanholme, The 16,000 sq ft residence that is located on the south side of Hwy 96 in Section P with a large pond off the back deck is now available for lease or purchase. The Little Embers Daycare opened the summer of 2004 and is thriving. In 2006, it expanded by doubling its facility. It is a short walk from the Blackman Elementary School. Also in 2006, Cross Creek Apartments are leasing and Victory Pointe subdivision is complete.

2007 was a busy year for Victory Station. Ascend Credit Union opened on HWY 96 on the south side of Victory Station (Parcel P) and On the Run Convenience Store opened on HWY 96 on the north side (Parcel D). The Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church has purchased the church site (Parcel A). Swanson Developments purchased 38.4 acres on the north side of HWY 96 to develop the Villages at Victory Station, a universal housing development (Section T) and 16.9 acres on the south side, the property behind Publix (Section U and V) for retail and residential.

In 2008, the infrastructure being put in by Moody Construction is well on its way to completion on the south side of Victory Station. CVS Pharmacy has started construction at the corner of HWY 96 and Fortress Blvd. on the north side of Victory Station. The Medical Center Parkway exit on I-24 and Fortress Blvd also opened.

The roof tops have definitely increased in Blackman and the surrounding area west of I-24, bringing lots of activity to Victory Station and Kingdom Ridge. The I-840 interchange in Blackman at Beasley Rd. is due to open shortly.
